Garmisch Galavanting

My favorite destination on the opening tour was in the German town, Garmisch Partenkirchen. It was absolutely the most stunning place I had ever seen in terms of natural beauty. The quaint town was surrounded by misty forests, mountains and waterfalls. One day we got to adventure through the Garmisch Gorge and explore the natural water rapids and streams.

One of my top 3 favorite stops on the tour, Heidelberg, Germany. It was a quaint town with beautiful scenery, hustling college-aged students and a castle atop a hill built by King Rupert. This picture was taken on the bridge connecting the two sides of town.

Pinot Gris

Enjoying delicious wine at a famous vineyard in Riquewihr, France.

Pierre Hermes

Eating my first macaroon at the mecca of macaroons, Pierre Hermes. The flavor was pistachio and cinnamon.. and absolutely delicious.

Luxembourg Gardens

I wanted to post a few more pictures of the week and a half prior to arriving in Florence.. what we call, “The Opening Tour.” We started in Paris and continued to visit Reims, Strasbourg, Colmar, Riquewihr, Heidelberg, Garmisch and Munich.
